AccreditationCanadian Advanced Medical Services International, in combination with the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation (CCHSA) can assist individual hospitals, large groups of hospitals or governments to plan and introduce a national or regional system of accreditation. The Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation (CCHSA) is a Canadian, non-government organization that sets national standards in collaboration with health service provider organizations. The CCHSA helps organizations examine their services and finds ways to improve the quality of services delivered. For governments and funding agencies, an accreditation program contributes greatly in ensuring good value regarding hospital operating costs and in assuring a level of quality of care for the population. For individual health programs, accreditation provides an objective measure of quality of care thus assuring the population served of the care they receive. The acceptance of standards and the commitment to strive to meet these standards, represents a process which results in a constantly improving quality of care.
