Coastal Health
One of North America's leading health care centers, the VCH is among the
best teaching and research facilities in Canada. The centre provides specialized
tertiary services in neurosciences, trauma and rehabilitation as well
as a full spectrum of medical and surgical services.

Paul's Hospital
An acute academic and research hospital providing specialized services
in the areas of cardiac, renal, HIV/AIDS and mental health, St. Paul's
Hospital conducts basic health research with a focus on cardiovascular,
pulmonary and critical care.
Children &
Women's Health Centre of British Columbia
An academic health centre affiliated with the University of British Columbia,
the center provides a range of programs and services devoted exclusively
to women's health, newborns and children and manages the largest maternal-fetal-newborn
clinical service in Canada.

Columbia Cancer Agency
The Agency provides a province-wide system of cancer control including:
prevention, screening and early detection, diagnosis and treatment services,
support programs, community programs, research and education. Through
four regional cancer centers, the agency works with a provincial network
of hospitals, physicians and other providers.

of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine (UBC)
With an international reputation for excellence in advanced research and
learning, UBC offers undergraduate programs leading to the Doctor of Medicine
